NAME
duattach - initialize the Dialup IP pseudo-device
SYNOPSIS
duattach
[ -f family ]
[ device ]
DESCRIPTION
Duattach initializes the Dialup IP pseudo-device so that the dialing
daemon, diald(8), can communicate with the kernel.
It takes an optional argument which specifies the device to initialize.
The default is /dev/dialup0.
The ``-f'' flag may be used to specify the number of the address family
for the device.
(The numbers can typically be found by looking for AF_ in
<sys/socket.h>.)
The default is 2, for the Internet family.
